We have a suitable vacancy for the position of Manager – Radio Systems with our client which is an ISO 9001 :2000, SEI CMM Level 5 and BS 15000 certified, multinational organization specialized in providing IT-based solutions to the Geospatial and Engineering sectors. It is head quartered in Mumbai and has more than a dozen regional technical centers throughout India.
Designation: Manager – Radio Systems
Skills Required: Radio Technologies, IEEE 802 standards, IP networks, Cellular networks (in GSM / CDMA industry), RF mapping, link planning, Microwave(Terrestrial) links.
Job Location: Mumbai
Experience: Minimum 8 – 11 years of experience in Telecom field for B.E / B.Tech candidates and 15+ years of experience for Diploma candidates.
Qualification: Diploma / B. Tech / B.E(Electronics and Telecommunication)
Job Profile:
• Technical Marketing
• Analysis of marketing trends
• Preparing Presentations & Demos to prospective customers
• Technical Analysis & response to RFI and Tenders
• Execution of projects
Special Skills and knowledge:
• Understanding and knowledge of Radio techniques, Digital transmission techniques and IEEE 802 standards.
• Experience in RF mapping, link budget calculations and link planning.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of Microwave (Terrestrial) links, HF/VHF/UHF Radio networks, and other Defence Communication Systems desirable.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of IP networks.
• Good knowledge of cellular networks, preferably deployment and network rollout in GSM/CDMA industry.
• Good communication & inter-personal skills, with ability to motivate and lead the teams.
• Problem solving, analytical, and decision making skills are required.
• Project Management and Execution skills desired.
Relevant Experience
• 8 -11 years in Telecom field (Preferably Def Communications) Telecommunications.
• Defence Service Personnel (Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) with relevant experience will also be considered.
Candidates willing to come down to Mumbai for Personal interview after their telephonic interview are preferred.
